Temporary Events with Food Service

A “temporary retail food establishment” means a food establishment that operates at a fixed location for a period of time of not more than fourteen (14) consecutive days in conjunction with a single event or celebration and does not include Farmer's Markets.  To operate at a temporary event in Mesa County you must possess a valid Colorado Retail Food Establishment License.  This license will permit you to operate at any temporary event with food service in Mesa County provided that the event coordinator lists you as a vendor and you have provided necessary information. Non-profit vendors please refer to the Flow Chart found in the resources below for further information.
